Steven Campbell writes comedic science fiction, and his Hard Luck Hank series is his main body of work. The series follows Hank, a mutant whose only real power is being extremely hard to kill, as he navigates life on Belvaille, a remote space station full of criminals, weirdos, and people who want him dead. The books mix lowbrow humor with surprisingly detailed world-building.
Campbell started the series in 2014 with Screw the Galaxy and has kept it going for fifteen entries. He also published the standalone fantasy novel Spell Talker in 2020.
