Robert Repino grew up in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, and served in the Peace Corps in Grenada before earning an M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Emerson College. His debut novel, Mort(e), was published in 2015 by Soho Press and introduced the War with No Name, a science fiction series in which intelligent ants transform Earth’s animals into bipedal, self-aware beings who revolt against their human masters.
The War with No Name series spans five books, including the novella Culdesac and the novels D’Arc and Malefactor. Repino has also written the League of Ursus, a middle-grade series about a dog named Spark. His short fiction and poetry have appeared in several collections and anthologies.
