| Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race | 2017 | Buy |
Reni Eddo-Lodge is a British journalist whose 2017 book Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race became one of the most widely read works on race in Britain. The book grew out of a 2014 blog post of the same name, in which Eddo-Lodge described her frustration with the way conversations about race were handled.
The book covers the history of Black Britain, the reality of structural racism, and the limitations of white feminism. It won the Jhalak Prize in 2018 and reached the top of bestseller lists in the UK during the racial justice protests of 2020.
