Patrick E. Craig is a lifelong writer and musician who left a performance career in 1986 to become a pastor. After years of teaching and speaking at churches on the West Coast, he retired in 2007 to focus on fiction writing. He has been published by Harvest House Publishers, Harlequin Books, and Elk Lake Publishers, as well as his own imprints, P&J Publishing and Islands Publishing.
Craig is best known for his Amish fiction, starting with the Apple Creek Dreams trilogy published by Harvest House. He followed that with The Paradise Chronicles, another Amish series, and later The Porch Swing Mysteries, which features Jenny Hershberger as an “Amish Miss Marple” solving crimes in Paradise, Pennsylvania. Beyond Amish fiction, Craig has written YA mystery adventures (The Adventures of Punkin and Boo), historical fiction with Murray Pura (the Islands series), and westerns (Storm Riders). His work has received multiple Chanticleer International Book Awards.
