Nancy Fairbanks is an American mystery author who has also published books under the names Nancy Herndon and Elizabeth Chadwick. A longtime resident of El Paso, Texas, she has written over 20 novels. She is a former member of Sisters in Crime and SouthWest Writers.
Her best-known work is the Carolyn Blue Culinary Mystery series, which ran from 2001 to 2009. The 12 books follow Carolyn Blue, a food columnist who encounters murders while traveling with her husband to cities and countries around the world. Each book includes recipes alongside the mystery.
