Melinda Leigh is a former banker who traded spreadsheets for suspense novels after her youngest child started first grade. She joined Romance Writers of America in 2007 and published her debut novel, She Can Run, in 2011. That book earned an International Thriller Writers nomination for Best First Novel, and her career took off from there. She has since sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, earned two RITA Award nominations, and was inducted into the New Jersey Romance Writers Hall of Fame.
