Mark Burnell is a British author whose most recognized work is the Stephanie Patrick series, a four-book spy thriller saga published between 1999 and 2005. The first novel, The Rhythm Section, was adapted into a 2020 film starring Blake Lively. Before the Stephanie Patrick books, Burnell published two standalone novels, Freak (1994) and Glittering Savages (1995).
