Lindsay Ashford is a British author who made history as the first woman to graduate from Queens’ College, Cambridge, where she studied Criminology. Before writing novels, she worked as a reporter for the BBC and as a freelance journalist. Her academic training and professional experience inform the crime fiction she went on to write.
Ashford’s Megan Rhys series follows a forensic psychologist drawn into criminal investigations. The series began with Frozen in 2003 and grew to six books, with Strange Blood (2005) earning a shortlisting for the Theakston’s Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award. Her novels have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
