Linda Rui Feng was born in Shanghai and holds degrees from Harvard and Columbia. She is a professor of Chinese cultural history at the University of Toronto and has received two MacDowell Fellowships for her fiction. Her prose and poetry have appeared in The Kenyon Review, Washington Square Review, and other journals.
