Kjell Eriksson is a Swedish crime writer whose Ann Lindell series has been translated into English and several other languages. Set in Uppsala, Sweden’s fourth-largest city and home to its oldest university, the books use the contrast between the city’s cultured surface and the violence beneath it.
“The Princess of Burundi” launched the English-language publication of the series and won Sweden’s top crime fiction prize. Eriksson has published 13 Ann Lindell novels, with the most recent, “The Deathwatch Beetle,” arriving in 2021.
