Jordanna Max Brodsky is an American author who writes fiction rooted in mythology and history. A graduate of Harvard University, where she studied History and Literature, Brodsky brings academic depth to her storytelling. She lives in Manhattan, a city that serves as the primary setting for her Olympus Bound trilogy.
Brodsky’s debut novel, The Immortals (2016), introduced readers to a version of New York City where the ancient Greek gods still walk among mortals, diminished but not gone. The trilogy continued with Winter of the Gods and concluded with Olympus Bound in 2018. She then shifted gears entirely with The Wolf in the Whale (2019), a standalone historical novel set in the ancient Arctic that blends Inuit mythology with Norse exploration. The book earned strong reviews for its research and its portrayal of clashing cultures in a pre-colonial setting.
