Jay Crownover lives at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, where she writes contemporary and new adult romance. Her debut novel Rule (2012) introduced readers to the Marked Men, a group of tattooed Denver friends whose stories drove her onto the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. That series spawned the Saints of Denver spinoff and, years later, The Forever Marked, a second-generation sequel following the original couples’ children.

Crownover’s range extends from the dark, gritty streets of the Welcome to the Point and Breaking Point series to the Wyoming ranch setting of the Getaway books and the small-town romantic suspense of Loveless, Texas. She has also co-written the In Luv Duet with Rebecca Yarros and published several standalone novels. Her most recent series, The Monsters Duet, began in 2024 with a billionaire enemies-to-lovers romance.
