Jamie Carie grew up in the small town of Vincennes, Indiana. After college, she married and stayed home to raise her two sons, during which time she wrote skits, poems, plays, and short stories for schools and churches. When her eldest son turned five, she began writing novels.
Her debut, Snow Angel (2007), won the ForeWord magazine Romance Book of the Year and was a finalist for the RITA Award for Best First Book. Her novels are set across a range of historical periods, from the American frontier to Regency England to Revolutionary France. The Forgotten Castles series (2012) follows the adventures of the Duke of St. Easton and his allies across European settings. Her work combines historical research, faith, and romantic storytelling.
