The Jack Dillon Dublin books are written by Mike Faricy, an American crime fiction writer originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. Faricy splits his time between Minnesota and Dublin, Ireland, and both cities feature in his work. Before becoming a full-time author, he worked as a soldier, freelance journalist, bartender, cake decorator, and painter. He began publishing fiction in 2011 and has since built a catalog spanning multiple series and over 60 books.
Faricy is best known for his Dev Haskell Private Investigator series, which has more than 40 entries. His Jack Dillon Dublin Tales, originally published under the pen name Patrick Emmett, follow a former U.S. Marshal investigating crimes across Dublin. The Corridor Man series, written as Nick James, takes a darker tone with disbarred attorney Bobby Custer navigating the criminal underworld. Faricy received the Crime Masters of America Poison Cup Award in 2019.
