Erin Sterling is the pen name of Rachel Hawkins, used for her witchy romantic comedy novels. Writing as Hawkins, she has published YA fantasy (the Hex Hall series) and adult thrillers (The Wife Upstairs, The Villa), but the Erin Sterling name is reserved for her lighter, more romance-focused work.
The Ex Hex series is set in Graves Glen, a small Georgia town where witchcraft is real and the local college has a thriving witchcraft studies program. The first book, The Ex Hex, came out in 2021 and became a bestseller, drawing readers in with its mix of magic, humor, and a second-chance romance between a witch and her ex-boyfriend.
