Eleanor Boylan wrote the Clara Gamadge Mystery series, five cozy mysteries published between 1989 and 1996. Clara Gamadge is the widow of Henry Gamadge, the detective from Elizabeth Daly’s mystery novels, making Boylan’s series a continuation of an earlier mystery tradition.
The five novels, from Working Murder through Murder Crossed, follow Clara as she investigates crimes using her intelligence and social connections. Boylan also wrote How To Be A Puppeteer (1994), a non-fiction guide.
