Edwin Dasso writes mystery and thriller fiction across two main series. The Jack Bass Black Cloud Chronicles, starting with Past Aghast / Death Target (2012), follows detective Jack Bass through eight cases ending with Covert Covid (2023). The High-Tech Crime Solvers series (2018) takes a different approach, using technology in crime investigation across eight “Virtually” titled books.
The Jack Bass novels follow a detective who deals with cases that grow more complex over time. Death Management (2013) and In the Line of Ire (2014) establish Bass as a dogged investigator, while later entries like Death Hub (2019) bring the series into more contemporary territory. Covert Covid (2023) is the most recent installment.
The High-Tech Crime Solvers books all carry “Virtually” in the title, from Virtually Lace (2018) through Virtually Impossible (2020). These novels focus on how technology can be used to both commit and solve crimes. Dasso also wrote the standalone Stuffed (2017) under the You Can’t Go Back label.
