Duane Boehm is a Western fiction author who has been publishing since 2013. His books are set in the American frontier and deal with cowboys, outlaws, lawmen, and the hard realities of life in the Old West. He writes in the tradition of classic Western storytelling, with an emphasis on character-driven plots and authentic period detail.

Boehm’s best-known work is the Gideon Johann series, which follows a former Confederate soldier trying to make his way in the years after the Civil War. The nine-book series tracks Gideon through gunfights, cattle drives, and personal losses across the Western territories. His Wild Horse Westerns focus on the relationship between frontier settlers and the wild mustangs of the plains, while The Hand Of Westerns trilogy explores themes of fate, family, and frontier justice.
