Donald J. Trump is an American businessman and politician who served as the 45th and 47th President of the United States. Before entering politics, he built a career in real estate and became widely known through his books and his role on the television show The Apprentice. His publishing career spans from 1987 to 2015, with 30 titles across non-fiction books, audio programs, and anthologies.
His first and best-known book, The Art of the Deal (1987), was co-written with Tony Schwartz and spent 48 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list. It covers his approach to business negotiations and real estate development. He followed it with a string of business books through the 1990s and 2000s, including Surviving At The Top, How To Get Rich, and Think Like A Billionaire. Several of these were co-authored, notably Why We Want You To Be Rich and Midas Touch, both written with Robert Kiyosaki.
Beyond his print books, Trump released a series of audio-only business programs between 2005 and 2010 that cover topics like real estate investing, personal branding, and career development. His later non-fiction shifted toward political topics, with Time to Get Tough (2011) and Crippled America (2015) laying out his views on American policy ahead of his presidential campaigns.
