David Slaton is a spy thriller series by Ward Larsen, following a former Mossad assassin who keeps getting pulled back into the world of international espionage. The Perfect Assassin (2004) introduced Slaton, and the series resumed a decade later with Assassin’s Game (2014), after which Larsen maintained an annual or biannual release schedule through Assassin’s Mark (2023).
The ten novels and the spinoff Dark Vector (2025, featuring Slaton alongside Tru Miller) form one of the more substantial entries in the contemporary spy thriller genre. Each book sends Slaton to a different part of the world as he confronts threats that combine geopolitical intrigue with personal danger.
