David Kreizman is an American writer who built his career in television before turning to fiction. He served as Head Writer of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light and later held the same role on As the World Turns and All My Children. He received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for his television writing.
Outside of soap operas, Kreizman co-created The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel, a scripted audio drama for kids that won a Peabody Award in 2016. His debut novel, The Year They Fell (2019), tells the story of five high school seniors who were inseparable as preschoolers but have since drifted apart. When their parents all die in the same plane crash, the five teenagers must figure out who they are amid grief and the pressures of senior year.
