Camilla Sten is a Swedish author who grew up around storytelling. Her mother, Viveca Sten, is one of Sweden’s most popular crime writers, and Camilla was involved in her mother’s creative process from a young age. The two have collaborated on young adult thrillers.
Sten’s breakout novel, The Lost Village (2021 in English), became an international bestseller and sold to 19 countries for translation. The book follows a documentary crew investigating a Swedish mining village where the entire population vanished in 1959. She has since published The Resting Place and continues to write psychological thrillers.
