Bridget Collins is a British author who trained as an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art after studying English at King’s College, Cambridge. She began her career writing young adult fiction, publishing several well-received titles starting with The Traitor Game in 2008.
Her breakthrough came with The Binding in 2019, her first adult novel, which reached number one on the UK fiction bestseller list. Set in a world where books are created by extracting and binding human memories, the novel blends historical fiction, fantasy, and romance. She followed it with The Betrayals in 2020 and The Silence Factory in 2024, both of which continued her exploration of memory, identity, and the hidden costs of creativity. Her latest novel, The Naked Light, was published in 2025.
