Bill Cotter writes and illustrates interactive picture books for young children. His most popular creation is the Don’t Push the Button! series, which began in 2013 and invites kids to interact with the book by ignoring (or not) the instruction not to push a button on each page. The series has expanded to cover holidays including Christmas, Halloween, and Easter, as well as bedtime and farm settings.
Beyond the Button books, Cotter has created standalone picture books like Hello, Airplane!, Beard in a Box, and Five Little Monsters Jumping on the Bed. His books use bold, simple illustrations and direct interaction to keep young readers engaged.
