Ben Sanders is a bestselling crime writer from Auckland, New Zealand. He published his debut novel The Fallen in 2010 at age 20, while still studying engineering at the University of Auckland. That book and his next two, By Any Means (2011) and Only the Dead (2013), all became New Zealand fiction bestsellers.
His American debut, American Blood (2015), launched the Marshall Grade series about an ex-NYPD officer living under witness protection in New Mexico. The novel was optioned for film by Warner Bros with Bradley Cooper attached to star. Sanders has been shortlisted for the Ngaio Marsh Award and continues to write from Auckland.
