Adrian Wooldridge is a British journalist who spent decades at The Economist, serving as political editor and writing the Bagehot and Schumpeter columns. He co-authored several books with fellow Economist editor John Micklethwait, including The Witch Doctors (1996) about management theory, The Right Nation (2004) about American conservatism, and The Fourth Revolution (2014) about the future of the state.
He also co-authored Capitalism in America (2018) with Alan Greenspan and wrote The Aristocracy of Talent (2021), a history of meritocracy. He co-authored The Company (2003) for the Modern Library Chronicles series.
