Addie Thorley is an American author of young adult fantasy whose work draws on non-Western historical settings. Her debut, An Affair of Poisons (2019), is set in historical France and follows a young apothecary caught between political factions. Her Night Spinner duology — Night Spinner (2020) and Sky Breaker (2021) — is set in a Mongolian-inspired fantasy world and follows Enebish, a disgraced warrior with the power to command darkness.
